MoMA Museum of Modern Art: Party in the Garden

An annual event organized in the style of a charity reception. This year’s party took place on July 4th. Location – Sculpture Garden Abby Aldrich Rockefeller. Here guests were offered cocktails and light snacks. The main part of a gala dinner was held in the lobby of the museum.

Museum employees led by Tania Abitbol worked on the design of the event. The creators were inspired by the colors characteristic of the tropics and based on light accents.

Shine! Gala

Celebrity Series of Boston has launched the eightieth “Shine! Gala”. The location was the Boston Center for the Arts, or rather, part of it – Cyclorama. During the event, they managed to raise more than half a million dollars. They will support projects to increase community involvement. Rafanelli Events team worked on the design. The main focus was the main stage, on which concerts were held in the evenings.

Bergh Ball

The annual event has been held for the 22nd time. The initiator is – Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The event took place in April at the New York Plaza Hotel. The reception was designed in the black-tie style and dedicated to David Patrick Columbia, who helped and sponsored the association. The design was done by StoneKelly and Robin Bell, having received some sponsorship.

Gardner Gala (Boston)

This year, patrons known for sponsoring of the museums were united at this event. First, guests were offered cocktails, after – lunch directly in the halls of the museum. The concept was developed by Jennifer Wheaton (Design Collaboration). Gardner_Museum_Catering was responsible for catering services.

Traditional Reception at Apollo Theater

The New York Theater hosted the Fourteenth Annual Reception on June 10th. About  $2 million was raised within this event for the implementation of charity programs. For the afterparty, an awning was constructed according to the author’s project of the designer Bronson van Wieck. In general, the location copied the spirit of a traditional theater. It was decorated with golden, black and red curtains. A huge gramophone was placed in the center and filled with flowers.

Reception in Boston: The Institute of Contemporary Art

In the spring, the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston held a traditional holiday fundraising to implement the organizer’s global tasks. The Tyger Productions team worked on the decor, inspired by the Purple’s work. Its author is John Akomfrah, who can be called the hero of the event. The basis was the sparkling atmosphere, recreated by a huge number of mirror sequins, which were hung over the location.

 Phillips Collection Museum — a traditional reception

In May, a charity event came together which is held annually. The theme of the event was Mexico. It was presented as a country of beauty. When creating the design, they were trying to achieve a combination of accented table setting and central compositions made of paper flowers. The reception was hosted by Dufour Collaborative.
