The project “Women’s Voice and Leadership – Ukraine” was initiated by the Government of Canada and is dedicated to protecting the rights of girls and women, as well as promoting gender equality in our country. It is aimed primarily at women’s organizations that defend women’s rights in Ukraine.

The history of ARENA CS partnership with the Ukrainian Women’s Fund is long. The cooperation intensified significantly in 2016 when Yana Matviychuk, the founder of the event agency, took part in a project to support business initiatives as one of the executive partners. The project was initiated to support victims of the conflict in the Donbass.

Clear landmarks

ARENA CS has implemented several thousand events. For about 37% of the events, it was required to develop an identity of various levels of complexity and detail. Among the well-known partners of the agency, in addition to the UWF, are UNDP, UNICEF, Council of Europe, ISAR Єднання, Philip Morris Ukraine, diplomatic missions and embassies, numerous charitable and non-governmental organizations.

It is noteworthy that the author of the visual identity for the new project of the Ukrainian Women’s Fund was a man: graphic designer ARENA CS Matvey Vishnevsky. According to him, he specializes in branding projects of foundations and non-governmental organizations. A huge amount of materials devoted to gender inequality and violation of women’s rights passes through it. Naturally, it is impossible to remain indifferent to these problems. Especially when working for a company founded by a woman with an active social position. Matvey admits that Yana Matviychuk is a vivid example of a woman leader for him. Therefore, while working on the project, he had a clear reference point.

Cooperation between ARENA CS and UWF is a vivid example of how to face problems and solve them, despite difficult external conditions. Mutual support will allow us to overcome a difficult stage and make a contribution to building a new Ukrainian society.
